Immersion Program

Immersion engages students with community leaders struggling to undo injustice in the Americas in order to experientially educate them about the power of human liberation. As a program within the University YMCA, Immersion sponsors issue related learning trips to cities in the United States and abroad. Various modestly priced trips are conducted during winter and spring and summer breaks.

University of Minnesota Learning Abroad Center

The Learning Abroad Center is the University of Minnesota's comprehensive resource for study, service learning, intern, volunteer, work, and travel experiences worldwide.

Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs (HECUA)

The University of Minnesota is a member of HECUA, which provides study semesters in Oslo, South America, and the Twin Cities. Urban Studies majors and minors may use some HECUA credits to fulfill requirements.
